First Assembly launched our first attempt at internet distance  ministry about 10 years ago.  After a successful first try utilizing conference phones on each end we jumped into site- specific streaming media...whereby remote Alaska congregations that had no pastoral care received ongoing ministry, in real time.   These weekly services featured shared worship, special music presentations from the remote site, the preaching of the Word, plus the live altar response and personal prayer for our loved ones in bush Alaska.

The ministry became Voice to the Village under the direction of Terry and Danean Hull.  That ministry has grown steadily now with hub villages reaching a number of other more remote areas.

This year First Assembly looks forward to partnering with Voice to the Village once more reaching further into the Alaskan frontier.
